HYUNDAI COMMERCIAL: CUDDLE MONSTER

Hyundai vroeg om een knuffelmonster dat buiten alle copyright zou vallen. Één die nergens op zou lijken. Inspiratie kwam van de nauwelijks bekende Mexicaanse mini-salamander Axolotl, maar dan in gi-gan-tisch formaat. De commercial gaat namelijk over een techniek die je waarschuwt. Zelfs als je geen zicht door je achterruit meer hebt omdat er een enorm knuffelbeest voor zit... Needless to say wie alle andere knuffels, hangers en meer in deze commercial ook nog even maakte.
Hyundai asked for a stuffed monster that wouldn’t give them any copyright issues. One that doesn’t look like anything else. Eventually, the barely known Mexican mini salamander Axolotl provided inspiration, but then in a MASSIVELY blown up way. Why? Because the commercial is about a warning technique. It is even warning you whenever your rear window is blocked by a massive stuffed animal in the back seat... Needless to say who also made all the other stuffed animals, chains and more for this commercial.
